Einar Baldvin

Einar Baldvin was born in Reykjavik, Iceland. and currently lives in Los Angeles. A CalArts and USC graduate, his animated films have played in festivals all around the world, including Telluride Film Festival, Slamdance, Clermont-Ferrand, Annecy International Animation Festival and Ottawa International Animation Festival. His latest film 'The Pride of Strathmoor' won the Grand Jury Prize for best animation at Slamdance Film Festivals as well as Florida Film Festival among other prizes.

Alexey Gusev

Alexey Gusev was born in Leningrad in 1977. From 1993 to 1996 he attended the Mathematical Faculty of St. Petersburg University. In 1997 he founded and until 2007 he directed the SatourN Theater in St. Petersburg, where he staged works by Saroyan, Yeats, Quevedo, Montale etc. In 1997, he began to publish film reviews and research in various media (specialized magazines and newspapers, broadcasting, the Ιnternet, etc.). In 2006 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Cinema Studies of the VGIK (Russian State Institute of Cinematography). He was the editor of the World Cinema section in the 7-volume The Recent History of National Cinemas, 1986-2000. From 2007 he teaches cinema history and theory in several institutes and cinema schools, including at the St. Petersburg State University for Cinema & Television. In 2008 he made his directorial debut with the feature-length documentary Catalogue of Ships.

  

Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese

Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese is an award-winning filmmaker and Artist. He was born in Lesotho and now spends most of his time between Lesotho and Berlin. He has worked as writer, director, cinematographer and editor since 2007. His work ranges from feature length, short films, and image films to music videos. Two of his short films, Mosonngoa (2014) and Behemoth of the game of god (2015), have been screened at over a hundred film festivals, including Clermont Ferrand International Film Festival, Raindance International Film Festival, Kinodot Film Festival, Festival del Cinema Africano, d'Asia e America Latina, as well as Durban International Film Festival and L'Étrange Festival. Mosese is also an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus (2011) and Focus Features Africa First (2012). The short film, Mosonngoa, won him the 'Best Short Film' as well as the special award "PremioAssociazione Sunugal" in Milan in 2016. Another of his short films, 'Behemoth or the game of God' has won a Jury price at the Kinodot Film Festival in 2016; the Signs Award at Festival International Signes de Nuit; Student Jury Prize in 2016 and the Special Jury Prize at Moscow International Experimental Film Festival in 2016. In January 2013, Mosese co-founded Mokoari Street Productions, a film and video production company.
